@hund does this in some way affect end user, i.e. KDE users who use apps that are built on Qt.

@huy_ngo It could, but I don't think it will cause any dramatic changes. My guess is that the project will eventually be forked into something libre and community driven.

@hund wanna bet on who is going to fork QT now and on the name of the fork?
My bets: the KDE team, `ktk`.

@hund I feel this suicide by Qt will only bring us more Electron garbage.

That being said Electron garbage that also runs on Linux is better than Win32 applications that don't.

@fedops We still have other toolkits. I hope that they eventually fork Qt into something fully open source though. Qt is a good toolkits. :)
