@hund from the business perspective, it is a wise choice - apple is moving to apple sili... ehm.. ARM, so that could start the ARM revolution, just because everyone would want to do the same as apple did. So the worst case scenario is that the value remains the same.

@pet84rik I'm very sceptical of the deal, but I hope this boost the interest for open source architectures instead. :)

@hund maybe.. because if ARM is now owned by a "very closed source" nVidia, that could help other alternatives to rise.


I hope this means more people will start using RISC-V.
