@hund I just select the text, press y, and paste it with the middle click
@hund There is the + register which corresponds to the system clipboard. Selecting text then typing `"+y` will put the selected text into your system clipboard. Replace the y with p and it will paste from the system clipboard. This also works in regular vim assuming you have compiled it with clipboard support.
I'm using the "quotestar" (*-register) approach instead. But that has some (fixable) problems with tmux I know.
