How to automatically change the current working directory in Neovim - https://hunden.linuxkompis.se/2020/06/26/how-to-automatically-change-the-current-working-directory-in-neovim.html
@hund Didn't know about that feature... thanks! Not sure how it will play together with fzf (my version of things I can't live without), but will give it a go 🙂
@hund ah, I see the problem now with this approach 😕 my workflow is to go cd into the project root from the terminal, fire up nvim, and then ctrl-p/fzf my way around to get the files I need. However, fzf only works on current and child dirs, so if I autochdir into src/, then I will only be able to access files in that dir. Oh well, it was a beautiful thought as long as it lasted...
@kf Aw! :D
@hund I had seen this before... never used it because the docs says some plugins can break because of this setting. Did you notice anything strange ... or you don't use any plugins at all?
@ashwinvis I use some plugins, but I haven't noticed any breakage so far.
