Compilation successful on #NixOS !
(Plus every format-security warning fixed)
It's tested now: With release 1.0.2, the campaign is entirely playable in 64-bits.
(This is not an april's fool, this project currently wouldn't have the size to make this funny).
Mainly because I'd like to set up CI/CD and I'm already familiar with Gitlab's.
I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up and maintaining a mirror, and would prefer to just redirect to Gitlab.
Does anyone have any experience leaving Github, or see any issue with that ? Things you missed ? Is it a decision you regretted ?
What do you guys think ?
I wrote "again" because once upon a time there was site called http://www.homeworldsdl.org/ and an SVN repository that distributed HomeworldSDL.
However all that subsists now is a mirror of the code on Github. Thanks to which I was able to revive the project and finish the porting to 64b.
If you know anything about what happened, and/or have any means of contacting the people that worked on this before me, I'd be very interested. I wouldn't mean to step on anybody's toes.
Homeworld SDL is Live! (again)
This page will post updates as the recent port to 64b takes shape.
