@graves501 Thanks for the heads-up. Not installed on my Samsung phone in Belgium.

@TimFinnerty @graves501 Have a look in Settings, Apps, not in Play Store. There you will find it.

@daft_wully @graves501 not there either. Only Android System Intelligence and System Webview

@graves501 IS it possible this is only for US users, as I can't find it anywhere devops is on and also not in googleplaystore to remove. I do however have the option to install it.

@pvdrijst

No, I'm based in Europe and a couple of my friends already uninstalled it. Also the original post I'm referring to is from a German guy.

@graves501 @pvdrijst I live in the Netherlands and I had it on my Pixel 6a when I checked. That makes some sense as the phone is a Google product, although I did not give explicit permission to install the app (I think... I can't remember doing so but I might have absentmindedly done so if it was part of a whole list of Google Play update items).

Apparently, it was already installed in November 2024. I have removed it as a precaution.

@ElBeeToots @graves501 on both samsung (one work the other personal) no sign of it, android 14 with latest available patches installed.

@pvdrijst @graves501 Perhaps I installed it when it was offered in a list of other app updates. I don't always check all of them when there are a lot. Of course that's not the best kind of practice but it could be the reason why that app was on my phone.

@graves501
And don't forget to reboot your phone after removing the app, otherwise it keeps running in memory.

@graves501 thnx, did so. What about the other two Android system apps?
