I must make it clear, the free software movement is OUR movement, with or without Richard Stallman. I highly expect him to remain in our hearts for the decades of contributions he has made, and for the great influence he represents to us!
The Free Software Movement was created by Richard M. Stallman and other people. While RMS has ceased to be acting-president of the Free Software Foundation, there is a lot of positivity to be found in these coming moments! I think we can all agree that regardless of what has transpired, he is making the correct decisions on behalf of all of us to walk the thin ice; resigning is his attempt at rectifying those transgressions.
