Mopidy is great - but it's clearly meant for someone who has their music collection stored locally. I was able to find an extension that supported youtube-music - but realistically it's not nearly as good an integration as the real client.
I know I'm the lone one out here for using Google services for stuff - but 🤷 - going solo is a time commitment I can't float for a while.
I think I'll just be on the lookout for Google to release a Home device with audio out to get the barn wired up.
@danslerush Quick 10 minutes of tinkering doesn't look promising... they provide a .img file instead of a package or binary that I can run, and that .img file seems broken in it's current state (can't mount it). I'll try to write it to a USB this weekend and see what happens!
@funnylookinhat Yes, I usually used it with Etcher on an SD card, I don't think there's binaries, it's a one stand installation. But it works well, I used it with music stored in a NAS and some plug-ins
