@vwbusguy @fedora And on top of that, upgrading to Fedora 41 fixed an old annoying bug with DisplayLink that was causing artifacts on my screens connected to the Dell dock.

So Double Thanks 🍻

Already grabbed and installed it 10 min ago

@fedora Very nice! Thank you for this awesome linux distribution ;)

@fedora I'm so curious to try it! Fedora is never banal and predictable in releasing new versions; there are always great new features, the result of quality work. It's a great example in the open source world.

@fedora so... No more waiting for dnf to update repos?

@fedora Happy to see it made the early release target! Congrats to all the developers who worked hard on this release!

@fedora
Very pleased! I would like to thank everyone involved for making this possible. Fedora has been my main operating system for almost two years. I have a blue hat and a blue T-shirt with a big Fedora logo on it. I'll put it on tomorrow and stick a post-it with the words "Fedora 41 has been released" on it and walk around the office all day. 🎉🎊🥳

@fedora congratulations to everyone who worked hard on this!

@fedora congratulations!!!
Was eagerly waiting for this. Deploying a VM first thing in the morning tomorrow.

@fedora Congratulations on the release! We hope you all get to eat lots of cake! 🎉

- Evan

@fedora Great work, thanks everyone 😍

Small things learnt:
dnf list installed -> dnf list --installed
neofetch -> fastfetch

@fedora Why don't you post this on Twitter, too? You still have an account threre, but it seems to be dead, and this it NOT good!

@fedora Let's go! Way to go my most favourite distro.👍🏻

@fedora Thanks for that. Update was smooth and successful.

@fedora is there a way to see why this is not working? I press the download button but nothing happens :)

@fedora installed GNOME Firmware and all updated nicely!

@fedora i'd like my Gnome apps on 47 runtime to work again on Wayland. They all work fine in X11.
Can't believe this bug wasn't fixed for main issue

@fedora See, Fedora is great 👍🏻 it has so many good things inside. Even though it's backed by a big company it's 10x better than ubuntu by canonical.

@fedora @centos @almalinux @rockylinux Great thing is F41 finally stopped blocking validators. We had validation of gpg keys in dnf3. It finally works in default installation, but is not in anymore.

@fedora @kde Hello, is fedora mobile compatible with #librem5 phone ? i have already installed #pureOS #postmarketos and #mobian
I tried to install fedora mobile on sdcard by 2 ways i know, it not booting.
There are a compatibility list of phone and tablet somewhere ?
Thank

@fedora @gnome excited to see if the MIPI camera on my laptop is supported now. That's the one thing that hasn't been working since I switched from running Windows. Not a deal-breaker but it would be nice if it just works like everything else 😁

@fedora @gnome Worked great apartfrom Yubico auth not wanting to read my key codes anymore. Gnu issue?

@supernov @fedora @gnome In general I'd love a proper UI somewhere in Gnome for managing PAM and 2FA. I'd like it to be simple to require a key or code to login to my desktop/laptop.

@fedora @gnome

I tested three times Fedora 41.Workstation build (beta, RC1 & Final), After updating system and installing nvidia drivers from RPM fusion, In first boot of Fedora 41 GNOME edition, Gnome 47 system apps doesn't launch on Wayland.

And Fedora 41 doesn't have x season we can't even open terminal to fix it.

@fedora
Hopping over odd versions since 29 goes on!

@fedora This is awesome! 🎉 I just upgraded, but I still have the old terminal (not Ptyxis). Do I have to somehow change that manually or should I wait for another update?

@fedora Thank you to the developers! I appreciate your hard work!
