It is time to reinstall my #pinebookpro
What distro should I use? I currently use debian with an older kernel, but it would be nice to be more up to date.
I mostly use the terminal on it, so no fancy GUI needed (not fancy, but basic atleast)
Ideas?
@selea I recommend Fedora as a nice stable base, it’s reasonably up to date with source.
If you want the knifes edge, Arch is my recommendation.
Does Fedora work with the PineBook Pro?
@selea yes I also run that. Small, lightweight, supports the h/w just fine.

Nice, I'll look into it. I just want something simple and easy to maintain. The pinebook are basically turning into a console for my lab-environment. I think it is perfect for that :)
@selea that's what I use it for also. Wayland & sway are a nice combo for such a limited machine.

@fedops @selea @OrbitalMartian @jahanson I'd go for just debian, X, and i3 tried and true :)
