#clearlinux thoughts.. wiped off my puter. I dont like the package manager, among other things. Back to Kubuntu for now, rocking the Developers beta of Ubuntu 20.04. I feel at home during these times of crisis. :)
OK, so this is my #screenshotsunday shot...
It's the Pi with nextcloud... But I thought that a little wttr.in might be nice, as well, it's really a headless server with really no need for that screen at the moment.
Could almost feel this coming. I hate this kind of thing so much.

@donteaford If (more like when) Apple starts producing and using their own CPUs, I think Intel may try to market Clear Linux
Just a suggestion for people who want to cross post from Mastodon to Twitter. Mastodon by default has an RSS feed of your account. Just add .rss to your profile address like this:
Using this method, any service that posts to Twitter from RSS can act as a cross poster.
After much thought I am actually (I cant believe I'm saying this) going to try #CLEARLINUX a go. Ofcourse not as my daily OS (not yet atleast) but I am curious what exactly Intel thinks they can do better than every other #NIX distro out there. And I start to wonder.. Are they actually preparing to attempt to go head to head with #Windows and #Mac? Is this their plan? I'd say if it is, they may in time actually have a good chance. But if not, then what is #CLEARLINUX's purpose for #Intel? Hrm..
To everyone who trashed my post about #discord.. duelly noted i see all of your views and even agree with some of them. Most important to me however is that provides an alternative to social media. These days EVERYONE and THEIR MOTHER "LITERALLY" is on it and gives up ALOT of personal information without even thinking of the future problems that may arise from them blindfully inputing all of ther information. They may aswell put their CC# and SS# on there also. lol
@donteaford I don't have time to fact check at the moment, but I don't believe Discord is decentralized. They also lock you in to their terms of agreement and install software on your computer that monitors all of your running processes.
So I know alot of people have been switching to #LBRY recently in an attempt to get away from #YouTube. However.. I noticed a few negative things.. 1-The HUGE amounts of memory that this program uses int the background is ridiculous. Even if the app hasn't been open aftter your computer is rebooted the LBRY app will use about 10% of your memory.. run a #HTOP andsee. 2- The fact that the videos you choose to stream are automatically downloaded to your machine.. RIDICULOUS!
Thank you everyone for so many welcomes, supports, comments, and shares! I am grateful for all of you! I had somoone ask about the Local Weather info line at the top of my #neofetch script. Is anyone else interested in how to add this to your neofetch config? if so, I'll post it here.. Thanks!
