@distrotube There are tools that let you downgrade packages, you can also use timeshift. But both of those have downsides, timeshift uses a lot of space and downgrading a package might not keep it downgraded for as long as you need it to be. Installing bedrock linux can also help, put that also introduces other problems.

@Haijo7 I'm aware of downgrading packages. But I had already edited the project in the NEWER version of Kdenlive. And Kdenlive often breaks backwards compatibility. I've downgraded Kdenlive in the past and couldn't open newer projects in the old version. So I didn't bother trying the downgrade. I probably should have downgraded just to be sure though.
