The hardest thing to replace is going to be GAPPS Android. I'll need to do a fair bit of research and/or get a phone supported by Lineage or Ubuntu Touch or something.
@jp thanks!
@deviaan OnePluse One is supported by both. There maybe a Sony phone that is supported by both as well.
@jordan31 I may need to buy a new phone. I was hoping not to, but oh well. It'll probably be the last step I take because of that.
@deviaan You could always search ebay and find a cheap one to start off with. Just to see how well you like it and if the transition will go smoothly,
@jordan31 Yeah I'll definitely do that. The Nexus 5 looks to be less than 100 now so maybe I'll start there. It's probably the best way to do it anyways so that I can keep this phone as is if it doesn't work out.
@deviaan Not sure where you are, but, sometimes I can catch Nexus5 for $25-40 on ebay and about $40-80 for a OnePlus One as well.
@jordan31 Oh that's great to hear! I'm in Mexico, but it's not too bad to get it shipped here from the US. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks!
@deviaan Might want to take a look at #microg
