OMG... I forgot I still had a #ResearchGate account.
As it has become completely useless today, with so many open alternatives, I no longer have one.
And there are other reasons for deleting it too.

Update: I just realized that the obvious answer to this is #ORCiD 
@devSJR Indeed ! @ORCID_Org is part of the solution ! Mixing it with Mastodon over here, as well as with @OpenAlex completes the game. The latter has a saved search feature which allows following the productions of a given researcher if one wishes.
I indeed also hope that @bonfire will soon allow to wrap all this nicely together.

@devSJR @ORCID_Org @OpenAlex @bonfire No I did not. Thanks for binging it here ! To my opinion, it complements all this as it can host research productions. There are many others available, be it only in Europe. The challenge is to search them all at once.

@devSJR @kfitz On this subject, this project called @encyclia just came out. It is not operational yet but will provide interesting features linking Fediverse and ORCID.
