ISP rant
I've set up a local DNS but can't use it (in a simple way), because the router I got from my ISP won't let me change it.
Now I have to change the DNS on every device in my household.
It's a shame that some companies have so little confidence in their customers to customize their home network 🙄
Today and tomorrow are #HappyDays at our company, which means I'll get to work on anything non-work related, but will still move our company and me forward.
Open-source-vector-tiles-stack here I go! 🌐 🗺️
Anyone else got something like that, too?
On #InternationalWomensDay we like to remember: No #freedom without #diversity and #GenderEquality

By the way:
Berlin is the first federal state in Germany (yes, it is a city and a federal state at the same time) to make #InternationalWomensDay a holiday.
No work for me today!
Today is #InternationalWomensDay ♀️

@pentaro This is so cute 😍
Someone on Twitter mentioned that in some regions of Germany, a common idiom for whenever there's mist in the forest is "The foxes are making coffee", and thought the image was evocative enough for an illustration.
Well, I took the bait! 🦊☕
Roommate: why do you have freaking Pictionary on your NES Classic?
Me: so I can listen to the title theme.
Roommate: that's dumb.
Me: start it up!
Roommate: 😏... 😐😮😯😲😃😄😆

This is a note to people moving their repositories blindly to Gitlab.org: do you know Google is actually a huge investor in Gitlab?
The issue is not about Microsoft buying Github. The issue is about centralization and silos.
You do not solve that by moving your data from one silo to another.
You solve that by relying on small providers you can trust, or by becoming a provider yourself.
