If you just got broken audio after an update (and is using PulseAudio, which our images do) on Arch Linux, you can fix this by running:

`pacman -Syu pipewire-media-session`

More information here: archlinux.org/news/undone-repl

If any of you are running Arch Linux on your @PINE64 , you'll find out that uboot-pinephonepro is replaced by a dummy package.

This is perfectly normal, we're switching to Tow-Boot in the next PinePhone Pro image.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Now, can we get some poems about Linux Mobile in this special day?

Today is the free software day too.

A read up from @mobian developers on the kind of malware we've been targeted by last week.

Turns out, it's designed to also target devices outside @PINE64 ecosystem.

The latest U-Boot update for @PINE64 from our repository changes serial baudrate from 1.5mbps to 115200.

If you use serial console, please be noted about this!

Chatty on our image for @PINE64 / has been upgraded to 0.6.0 and MMS is now available!

To install run `sudo pacman -Sy mmsd-tng chatty` and then reboot.

You can then go to options and setup MMS, configuration depends on your carrier.

Wow, has a dedicated track for FOSS on mobile devices: fosdem.org/2022/schedule/track

If you are interested in you should check out the schedule. There's so much going on in the space right now. 😎

I feel like @postmarketOS or @danctnix is the future for me (still running a de-googled android right now though).

Let's admit it, we're rewriting our @PINE64's build script.

Here's a part of that deleted toot.

If you're getting this error on your @PINE64 today:

:: Installing alsa-ucm-conf breaks dependency alsa-ucm-conf<1.2.6 required by alsa-ucm-pinephone

This is actually blocked on purpose due to audio breaking on 1.2.6+, we'll fix it ASAP.
