Pinned toot

I'm selectively letting people into my -only privacy-oriented server, with a ZNC, where an official channel for development exists (my client).

Let me know if you'd like a ZNC account and access.

I'd especially appreciate privacy and security testers.

Considering creating a new account on Fosstodon which matches my GitHub name and then listing myself in the directory.

I dunno, though, maybe not worthwhile...

Which home server is better/do you trust more?

v0.10.0 is out! This release of the client written in introduces the ability to jump to a link by typing the link # and hitting ENTER to follow it, or ESC to exit the input!

Would anyone like to join my network which is -only, very private and secure, and comes with a free account?

Check out #Waffle, the new nifty and colourful #Gopher client written in Haskell. Bugs still getting ironed, but... It is fast! Like a cheeta. I’m very impressed. And it supports terminal colours. Heck, it revels in them even more than Lynx. Good show!

I think I mostly figured it out by rubber duck debugging.

I mysteriously wrote code I don't quite understand, yet it works.

@coffeerobot btw, I've shut off my SDF mirror. My gopher hole is canonically at gopher.black.

Is anyone here interested in joining the development chat (very private/secure/anonymous IRC)? Let me know. I'm looking for testers, suggestions, enthusiasts.

I'm looking at and considering AppImage for releases...

Any recommendations for a library for if I just want to write a very, very simple demo? Really just a spinning 3D object, maybe some other things...

Feel free to ask for one! You'll be DM'd with your ZNC info.

I bought a Harmony 665 (universal remote) and I really don't like that it requires an account to program...

After much consideration, I've decided to use good ol' for dev chat. However, I'll be bridging it to a room on chat.privacytools.io (/#matrix instance) soon.

I'm in the process of making a setup for , , and , trying to make sure everything is anonymous and secure for all parties.

I will be handing out ZNC accounts to friends, other devs, and people who help with (a client written in ).
