wait a minute …
I just realized that #raku's support for unicode quotation delimiters lets you do this:
my $name = 'world';
say “<div class="intro">
I said, “Hello, $name!”
and have it just work exactly the way it should – _without_ needing to escape anything. https://glot.io/snippets/fumiz7pp9e
That's so cool!
> Unicode quotation delimiters, aye?
Yep, with the added bonus that “…” allows for the same interpolation as "…" (other delimiters have '…' semantics – that is, literal strings) and that “…” understands nesting and is only closed by the matching delimiter (which is why “I said “hi” to him” doesn't have issues with the first ” )
