Of those, Rust and Racket are far and away my favorites
> What makes Rust great?
Lots of things! Some of my favorate #rust features:
- High performance/low resource use (similar to #c)
- Strong support for (most) functional programming idoms
- Safety (no buffer overflows!)
- Strong support for/culture of small programs with clear API boundries (#unix philosophy)
@codesections Sounds awesome. Can you recommend any resources to get me started with Rust?

Sure! The main/official #rust book is really good (and free, in both senses of the term). Working through it—slowly, if need be—is enough to get you started on a real project, so I'd say to dive in after that and build something small-ish that you'll use.
And then reach out with questions—either here or on r/rust (where people are impressively nice, especially for Reddit)
