@10leej Actually, we updated to a 6.12 kernel before release. It will likely stay on 6.12 for its entire lifecycle, although it does receive backports.

@centos Oh thats exciting. That should shoot down towards RHEL10 eventually right? Because I totally have a fleet I need to redeploy by then and have a number of Intel Arc GPUs that could benefit.

@10leej @centos Yes. What you see in CS 10 now is what is planned for the RHEL 10.0 GA in Q2 next year.

Sometimes I just want a #podman container for a very quick test.

However, `podman run -it centos` resolves to `quay.io/centos/centos:latest` on my #Fedora41 which is pretty useless, being a CentOS 8 image where the repositories are not reachable any more.
Is this intentional?

@dreua It looks like latest points to the latest CentOS Linux release, which is EOL, instead of the latest CentOS Stream release. We're checking with engineering to see if they can make latest point to Stream.
