I struggle with deep work. I think many of us do. There are so many buzz-buzz happening. Today, I tried to fight back, and work went well! I'm going to try and cultivate this "focus" more.

@celia noise canceling headphones. Once you put them on, doesn’t matter what is dinging, you won’t hear it. And DNT on all devices so you don’t see notifications from corner of your eyes.
@celia All my devices and apps are DNT by default.
- Sound or rings: no apps.
- Vibrations: incoming phone calls.
- Desktop visual notifications: terminal, personal reminders, incoming Slack calls and “wake up and walk a bit”.
- Mobile visual notifications: my phone has a LED that blinks on incoming emails and instant messages (but most of the time I don’t know where’s my phone ).
This helps focus, because I chose when I check emails, Slack…

I get easily hooked on with work if it gets interesting or maybe if someone challenges me.. that's my ego basically
Knowing when to stop is one of the hardest things that I couldn't catch up with. It's totally entrenched in me.
