A tiny "gnat ogre" (a kind of robber fly) perches on the tip of a twig while waiting for dinner (a gnat, or similar-sized insect) to fly by. While he waits, an even tinier red mite snacks on HIM.

A hunchbacked fly with huge red eyes perches casually in the tip of a twig, watching for prey. His eyes are much larger than the rest of his head, and stick off to the sides like the weights of a barbell. A bright red mite clings on, near the tip of his abdomen, hoping that he's in an unreachable spot.
