Trying to think of a way to convert a dumb electric baseboard heater into an IoT thermostat-based heater.

The issue is that third neutral wire is not part of *any* of the wiring in my apartment so that means...it ain't gonna fly without some sort of hack...

Any suggestions? I was thinking of co-opting close by outlets for the smart device's reserve power but I'm not sure how to go about that
