So...

pfSense works fine with the new modem on raw hardware...but not virtualized, any ideas?

@brandon depends how the virtualized OS is networked. Is it bridged?

@wholesomedonut I believe it’s bridged, but I’ve set it to use the recommended settings by pfSense for making a proxmox VM found here:

I can reach the LAN address but the WAN does not get an IP from the upstream DHCP server. It just hangs like it did on older hardware (3rd gen intel cpu)

@kai from what I understand, this won’t help much as the pfSense is the only VM to use the interface and bridge
