Do you guys know of any self-hosted collaborative programming program (to work on the same file at the same time while seeing live changes from the other, etc)? A bit like etherpad maybe but with more of a programming angle, syntax highlighting and maybe autocompletion

@Matter have you tried floobits? It offers similar functionality to vscode's live share but supports collaborative editing with whatever editors you like. I used it's Vim plugin and found it to be… ok. It worked great 90% of the time, anyway

@codesections @Matter I believe VSCode's Live Share features a "direct" mode. This might allow you to eliminate the need for a third-party server at all. Though I don't think Live Share is open-source

@brandon @codesections doesn't really matter though, since you still need a MS account for it... that's a shame
