🎉 New 1Feed release! It's been a while, but here it is.
👨🎨 The most notable change is a redesign focused on making 1Feed easier to scan and feel more like your favourite book. I've also updated the landing page design!

Suggestions for an open-source DAW to play around with synths in?
Ideally I'm looking for something like https://audiotool.com but not cloud-based.
I was interviewed on the Product Hunt blog! 😻
- How I got started on 1Feed (with a CodePen!)
- My challenges as a maker
- How to ship fast & stay on track
- How to have a successful Product Hunt launch
- Next steps for 1Feed
And much more!
1Feed is one of the 3 recipients of this month's $5000 maker grants!!!
The announcement newsletter title is even "best indie product of 2021?" 🤯

✅ Added a bunch of FAQs to the landing page to help people who want to know more about 1Feed before slamming that Sign Up button!

@plausible Hey, congrats on releasing the stats API! Feature request: It would be cool if we could use the API without a token for sites where we've set the visibility to public :)
I chose to build 1Feed as a web app because of openness and freedom — you don't have some app store gatekeeper not letting you in because you're under 18 or refuse to give them 30% of your revenue.
1Feed was featured in this great article by Fast Company:
Just had a cool idea… What if https://1feed.app could read sitemaps? They have URLs and last modified dates, so all I'd need to fetch separately would be the titles.
This would mean you could subscribe to pretty much every site on the internet, even if it doesn't have an RSS feed 🤯
Just posted 1Feed on https://news.ycombinator.com! We’ll see how it goes, probably either a success or a total flop 🤷♂️
Hopefully the former! 🙏
Also gave me some further inspiration/clarity/food-for-thought around my mission for 1Feed (and mission as a maker in general)
Wow. This talk by Anil Dash is 8 years old, but it’s still relevant today, maybe even *more* relevant.
Expected to spend like 15mins skimming through but ended up watching the entire hour on 1x speed.
Really powerful talk, highly recommend…
Dark mode users will also probably see a slight performance increase due to the browser no longer doing a bunch of weird photoshoppy things on the entire <body> 😂
