I know there are many who have been arguing that Microsoft is just trying to do the right thing, and some that have said they trust Satya Nadella, but this feels like we're moving into the "Extend" phase to me.

@mike I mostly just think that this isn't embrace extend extinguish. Windows isn't a money maker for Microsoft, so I don't think they have any financial reason to try to destroy Gnu/Linux.

@mike In fact, Microsoft is currently making tons of money via Azure running Gnu/Linux. Their main competition is Amazon and Google.
