I've been using open source since at least 1998. I say at least, because I might have used it before then, but I don't remember it.

I run BSDCan, PGCon, FreshPorts, The FreeBSD Diary, and a couple of blogs based on the previously mentioned items. I maintain some FreeBSD Ports and I present at conferences from time to time.

Okay, finally got off the hook of Facebook. I deleted my account year and a half ago, but kept the Messenger associated with my number until yesterday. Although it was somewhat important group coordinating tool for my social circle, I gave it up.

Howdy @dustin, thank you for the repository that allows Homebrew users to install .

Today the repository referenced in Homebrew, github.com/dustinwilson/homebr doesn't exist. There is no obvious upgrade or replacement; Homebrew simply fails for any operations there.

Are we screwed? Is this some smooth transition, or a fatal breakage, or something else? Hope you're okay and thanks for being on Mastodon :-)

@matt I am happy with Binarylane for hosting in AU, maybe you will be also.

@mike Look, if Pluto can be a proto-comet then anyone can chase their dream.

Okay, what about services specifically for organising a topic-based meetup group?

There is gettogether.community/ which is good at first look. Any better ones?
