People, I'm getting this problem when running on () via on . Long specification, but any idea why this could be happening? Maybe some Waydroid compositor settings? :android:

(I had changed the "scaling" display setting in Waydroid, but setting it back didn't seem to help 🫤️)

Screenshot of the Organic Maps app. The buttons and other UI elements in the app are all working fine, but the map itself is broken into glitchy strips of lines (a bit like Professor Calculus' colour TV, for those who have read Tintin comics)

@badrihippo Look at the GPU / Waydroid interaction. Looks like a something is off there. Maybe a wrong format specifier but could also be outdated mesa in the image)? Could very much be device dependent. Maybe someone can confirm it doesn't happen on e.g. L5 of PP ? (or maybe it does which would also tell us something).

(you can likely take phosh/phoc out of the equation here (e.g. by checking with Weston)).

@agx FWIW, it also works in the Waydroid installation I have on my (x86) laptop 💻

Unfortunately Weston had the same issues. I see a Waydroid image update available so let me try that and see ⬇️

In fact that's good new as we can take #phosh/phoc out of the equation and it's likely triggered by the graphics stack in the android image.

@agx oh yes, of course! Hmm, maybe I should file a bug in Waydroid; at least I'll get more pointers on how to debug this. It does seem like a very device-specific issue.
