The text in the title bar is "To the BASTARDS STEALING our patches"
The button says "Thankfully I am not one of those three [mentioned above]"
If you're tuning in to ÖzgürKon, the international online free software conference this weekend, don't miss FSF campaigns manager Greg Farough, presenting on Defective by Design, our campaign against #DRM, on Sunday at 10:00 EDT: https://u.fsf.org/3eb
Daily reminder of the obvious for less-than-bright telcos: PROTOCOLS ARE NOT PIRACY.
Somebody makes a car, somebody else intentionally drives that car over a bunch of people. Telco logic: OUTLAW CARS.
Shit like this makes me want to #bittorrent everything in my hard drive, and my blog, too.
If you're NOT a part of the global rich, not working for big tech, or marginalized in any way, please try and fill this in if you can.

Guess we don't have to wait for the US to wake up, lol
decentralized lunacy
people keep saying that maybe the next cryptocoin is going to wreck the ssd or the memory market, and i hate these people so much. decentralization getting coopted by a bunch of loons is such a tragic thing unto itself, but to have these loons also all be committed to consuming disproportionately massive amounts of computing resources is such a pathetic drag on the rest of us.
@lxzio There's wallabag, which is gratis if you self-host (and is also supported by KOReader if you have an e-ink device)
I can’t believe I’m having to write this code in a fucking web server. What a mockery of the web, human rights, and the GDPR.
Fuck you, Google!
Schools must not use the pandemic as an excuse to comb for evidence of cheating in places that are far outside their technical expertise. A misguided investigation of Dartmouth medical students is a prime example of why this can go horribly wrong. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2021/04/proctoring-tools-and-dragnet-investigations-rob-students-due-process
@oedmarap Thank you for your support. You pretty much got the gist of it.
The free software movement that existed when I was a teenager, I want that back. I want free software projects to focus on just pumping lines of code into their git repositories!
Leave the politics out of it. The only politics that matter are: GNU-style free software ideology everywhere, bringing about a world where everyone can use a computer in freedom.
Just write the code.
And for the love of god: abolition of CoCs
@alrs @libreleah @tagomago can't the copyright holders of libre software "park" their code to GPLv3 and drop the + from GPLv3+, like Torvalds did with GPLv2? But a corrupt FSF would be detrimental to the enforcement of "older" GPL versions, I guess
The Linux Community Is Real. Linux UNITY Is A Myth.
