@mike Lazy pronunciation is a pet peeve of mine.
I have a phone number in the 801 area code in the United States. You'll hear all the locals pronounce it as "Eight Oh One". I always pronounce it as "Eight Zero One".
Granted, I won't correct anyone on their pronunciation (except for my daughter).
I know English isn't unique in this regard, but that's no excuse. It's the pedant in me that wants digits pronounced as such, and alphabetic characters pronounced as such.
They're zero days.
