I've updated the starter pack creation process and added a preview step to make it easier to see who you’ve added.
Also starter packs now start in draft state and aren’t published to the community starter pack list until you publish them on the starter pack screen.
@anze3db It would be super geil if you could see how many people pressed follow, through each starter pack, in order to sort them by popularity.
Other metrics to consider could be: concentration of instances, concentration of langugage and to add tags to the startpack descriptions
@nicolaiofdk Great suggestions, thanks! I wish I had the foresight to add tracking of follow all clicks, but unfortunately I didn't, so there isn't any historical data available
@anze3db That wold be so cool - history starts today, then ;)
btw, went through the first 150 starter packs - some of the creators are un-indexed accounts, isn't a little funny that they can't be listed in a starterpack, but can create starter pack?
@nicolaiofdk It is a little funny, yes but I don't think it's wrong - I don't want to limit starter pack creation (unless it's for a nefarious purpose).
@anze3db fingers crossed for it wont come to that
@nicolaiofdk Update: I'm not showing the follow-all stats (yet), but I'm now using this data to sort starter packs by popularity.
@anze3db Wow that is cool :D can you open up a little about how to measure , is it clickthroughs, followers etc
@nicolaiofdk yes, it's sorted by how many unique people clicked the "follow all" button in the given time period. I can iterate on this later, but for now I think it's a decent way to gauge starter pack popularity.
@anze3db This is pretty dang awesome, thank you for building this! Could you consider making it so the account picker loads your friends list first? Or have your friends list as a selectable tab that you can switch to? It'd make it much easier to pick friends I'm already following!
@baralheia I do like this idea, I'll see if I can add it! Thank you for the feedback!
