Now that we’re here, time for an #introduction!
We’re an open-source app store making it possible to #sideload apps that aren’t allowed in the iOS App Store. We’re just 2 people @rileytestut @shanegillio working on this full-time, alongside a great community that’s motivated to bring new experiences to iOS
We’re solely funded through donations with no interest in VC backing. If you like what we’re doing & want to support a FOSS project, consider joining our Patreon https://www.patreon.com/rileyshane
@altstore @rileytestut @shanegillio do you *need* a paid account just to submit your apps? that’s incredibly shitty by apple (assuming it’s on them and not you). if they do enforce something like that, could you not ”publish” the app for people, providing them with everything without them needing to go through apple, or is that too difficult/impossible?
@flat @altstore @shanegillio indeed, Apple requires a paid account to submit apps for notarization :/ and yeah unfortunately it would be infeasible for us to publish everyone else’s apps due to how Apple’s fees/agreements are set up

it is couple of days that I am trying to add my repository to AltStore but regardless what I do I receive the error message that my source "is not supported by this version of AltStore". The version is 2.1.7 (on iOS 18.3.1)
I took the json from another site that works and adapt to my app but it gives always this error. I am contacting the support but with no answer so far.
