In the registration page we can read:
"In order to protect against registration by spam bots we will use Google reCaptcha on the next page."
Not that private if it uses google services. What else are they using from google?!
You might be OK with using +aliases instead, they work there same as on Gmail (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org)
