Does anyone know of a script that uses atimes or something to figure out which packages you aren't actually using?
@alexbuzzbee your file system probably does not store atimes by default ("noatime", or "relatime")
@clonejo relatime would be sufficient; it doesn't need much resolution.
@alexbuzzbee Seems like an interesting thought... but it comes with some problems since on every update the files of a package are probably modified and therefore accessed?
So I guess you'd want to do that after not installing any updates for, like, a month of diverse usage? Shouldn't be too hard to implement in a simple bash script :)
