I've just realised that I haven't posted any of my HRPT progress on here.
So, I bought a LimeSDR Mini (great SDR, rather insensitive though). It works great for NOAA, MetOP and FengYun, however it has a nasty spur at 1.7ghz which messes with Meteor. Currently I only do NOAA because the demodulators and decoders are not polished well enough for MetOp and FengYun.

#DOFH excuse #95:

Serverless infrastructure provider ran out of servers.

This is a bit of a far shot. But does anybody have any info on differential encoding used in FengYun HRPT. If so it would be incredibly useful and highly appreciated.

Microsoft's new "package manager" is not a package manager, its a installer downloader.

OpenCV is such a powerful library, I'm amazed that I didn't discover it earlier.
I'm finding the `remap` function especially useful right now, while working on software for polar satellite groreferencing & geometry correction.

tl;dr:

"GitLab has memory leaks."

Their solution is monkey patching their application to check its memory usage after every 16th HTTP request and commit suicide if it's too much. This page is telling sysadmins who install their own GitLab instance how to configure this.
