@RL_Dane Oh ReBoot was an amazing cartoon series and one I'll never forgot. Tocuh screens were quite impressive when they hit the general market. I however don't miss the membrane version... I can't recall what this was called at the moment.
Are you referring to the guy's setup at the TED talk?
He used rear projection for the image and side-illumination and a camera underneath for the touch point capture.
