PSA: MyFitnessPal has been compromised leading to 143M accounts to have their weakly hashed passwords, usernames, email addresses and IP addresses leaked.
Considering that UnderArmour owns MFP, and that password resets go through your UA account, I would garner to say that you should change your password if you're signed up to any of the UA-owned services.
I wrote some thoughts about #Privacy. Not sure everyone will agree, but thought I'd publish them nonetheless.

I propose to launch a campaign called #ShareATool.
Everyone can share their favorite #opensource tool(-s) that use on a daily basis as well as other interesting tools for your opinion.
No software categories. The main requirement is that the project must be open source.
And I think I'm gonna start.

What I'd hope for is that in the future, #fairphone would release upgraded versions of further individual modules (like they have with the camera), so that users could upgrade only the parts of their phone that they want to, instead of buying a new one.
You know, like with the desktop PCs of yore where you'd just upgrade your RAM here or your CPU there instead of buying a completely new PC every few years.
Why can't more apps be lightweight and responsive like Tusky?
Not a single second of lag ever. #FOSS
I hope that Apple shuts down Facebook's App Developer account.

One time I saw someone do this:
* Open safari on their iPad
* Type "google"
* click the google result for google search
* Type Facebook in the google search box
* Tap Facebook search result
* "Why aren't I logged in, I have the app installed" (app is on home screen)
If this is the level of understanding of web / app technology there is little hope currently of doing much about surveillance capitalism.
