I am thinking of getting bitcoin wallet, so that I can use it instead of Paypal whenever possible. Do any of you have some security/privacy reccomendations for bitcoin?
@MrChainman you should consider a wallet that supports both on-chain BTC as well as Lightning Network. Using LN is fast and cheap, while BTC can be slow and expensive. But not everyone supports LN.
A big advantage of cryptocurrency is, you are the only person ultimately responsible for the security of your wallet.

@MrChainman advice: don't store your currency on an exchange service; a local wallet under your direct control is the way. But also, don't put any currency in a wallet until you've learned a lot about how to secure it.
