@Kevin It’s less up front cost and provides access from anywhere, so yeah. But soon I’ll be getting some extra hardware and I intend to try home server as my default.
@Kevin Perhaps cloud anyway. I've been thinking that electricity here at home is largely coal generated. I could have a smaller footprint by cloudsourcing my server needs to a country that has hydroelectric energy.
@Kevin personally no, as the ongoing cost for a server with enough resources would be far too expensive in the long run.
