#MarbleMarcherCommunityEdition is an improved fork of #MarbleMarcher.
Marble Marcher is a #game where you guide a marble to a goal as fast as possible. Each level is a 3D #fractal that is extremely detailed, being rendered by a ray marching algorithm that can render infinite structures in real time. Community Edition adds several features like new visual effects, a level editor, and a screenshot button.

@Canageek Found something you might be interested in: http://www.vigyaancd.org/. It's a GNU/Linux distro for #biochemistry . It's a bit dated (runs on i486 and up), but worse case scenario you click the links and maybe find some #chemistry and #biology tools you didn't know about. Comes with EMBOSS and a crap ton of other tools. I haven't seen anything else like it. The distro ran just fine on QEMU other than getting Internet to work correctly, but that's mostly SSL's fault. #linux #research
Found this site today; lots of games written in BASIC and Extended BASIC for the TI-99/4A. Many have the visual appeal of a typical typed-from-magazine game, but *some* have some *really* spectacular graphics, considering the limitations of the VDP.
Just look at the start-up screen for Royal Game of Ur for example. WOW!

The recent evaluations made by the Qt company for restricting their license for the distribution of their future frameworks to paying customers, for a year, as a solution to boost revenue, seems to be a topic of great concern within the open source community.
Even moreso, the aftermath, if they were going to take such a path, would be interesting to say the least. Considerations being made, if a deal hasn't been struck, would be fork over the project.
