After years of Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and REAPER, is a breath of fresh air.

Midi editing is a bit lackluster, but the audio workflow is wonderful! The patching grid is just so much better than a number of other softwares solutions.

Especially seeing as its all JACK bound, and i can use solutions like Patchage to do some truly silly routing.

@EclecticEclipse Ableton is the only reason I keep my dual boot hackintosh. Posts like this make me want to give Linux audio another try

The available variety of well made, high quality sound software's and plugins simply astounds me.

Make no mistake, I still have a Macbook running as an audio processing rig just in case there is something I can't do on linux, but so far their hasn't been!

Plus, avoiding vendor lock in is amazing! I don't like the midi programming in Ardour, but I like Reapers. Otay, just run reaper as a midi sequencer, because JACK doesnt give a shit.

Give it a try, I'm sure you'll have one hell of a time!
