Wait a minute... Does Plasma Mobile work well on the Nexus 5X?

Looks like they're taking a play out if the #Ubports playbook and making #Plasma work on the #Nexus5X. That would be very cool.

@DistroJunkie well they've been developing it for the nexus 5x since 2015 I believe, but there hasn't really been an update since 2016... But maybe that is just a lack of blog posting and it actually does work... I'm going to test it.

@h4ck3r9 for ported android phone now plasma mobile uses halium as base ( halium.org ). There maybe a script for installation around. I am not sure but you can contact in group ( Matrix at #plasmamobile:matrix.org or over IRC at irc://chat.freenode.net/#plasma )

@trueleo oh yeah, I saw the auto install .sh script in the download... I just wonder if WiFi and data and calling/texting are working... If so, I could switch today and not really lose anything I don't need on Copperhead.

@h4ck3r9 WiFi will work but dunno about calling. Plasma Mobile is not really daily driver ready at the moment. But it is certainly a thing you must try. Things are moving slowly and project is still in alpha stage.
