I'm at lunch and there's a cute dog here. But I cannot take his photo and share it with you because of the #GDPR (good doggo photo restrictions).
So here's an emoji for your imagination: 🐕
Here's a #dnd monk commission I did recently! Went for a more abstract approach to the background for this one, pretty happy with how it turned out!

OK, the new #Mastodon admin only instance is now live at https://tootmin.network
If you're an instance admin, please drop me an email at invites@tootmin.network with your instance URL and username, I'll then review and get you an invite.
Please boost this toot, as the Tootmin Network will give us admins a place to collaborate and discuss Mastodon administration away from our respective instances.
Thanks!
Ooh, after close to a year there's a new What If posted. "What if there was an Earth-Moon fire pole" https://what-if.xkcd.com/
KDE connect is super awesome. I've used it in the past, but it works so much better with KDE than other DE's I've tried it with.
But the Android P battery saving stuff seems to stop it from working in the background after a few minutes, even though I have turned off battery optimization for that app.
I guess I should say I've been giving Plasma a shot (5.12.5 to be exact) KDE isn't DE is it.
Been giving KDE a shot lately. Its pretty nice! Its odd going from the barebones i3 to the full featured DE, but this one feels well put together with lots of integration.
anyway in other nautilus news it got installed to my computer as a dependency of something (??) and now i have this giant icon in my applications menu
Finally got #Nextcloud i̶n̶s̶t̶a̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ glued on my docker setup. Everything is running great! Now to get it backed up and my contacts moved over to it.
Only been a few days but I'm a fan of the new Android P beta.
Functionally the home slider into the recent apps is really nice, but it looks off balance.
I'm not a big apple guy, but I love the way this thing looks.
System76 (Linux PC makers) to move manufacturing to the United States from China!
Last year it released its homegrown Linux, Pop!_OS.
In March, System76 founder Carl Richell told about the company's plans to locate its computer manufacturing factory in Denver.
Open source keeps spreading, more folks find out.
It's a great way to solve problems... logistical, political, environmental, social, communal, etc?

I was setting up the backups when it happened :-(
Last year's fad: fidget spinners
This year's: things built to last

Ok guys, we have set up a Patreon account for Fosstodon. Please don't feel obliged to donate, as you're definitely not. But if you feel you can help, it's very much appreciated.
Anything we make over and above our hosting costs will be donated to a FOSS project of your choosing!
