Does someone want to start with me?
Code 1 hour daily for the next 100 days.

I mean, I am going to start anyways, but it way more fun with a 'code-buddy' for sure.

@Cando Hmm. I'm tempted 'cause I've just finished studying so, while I don't have loads of time on my hands, I have a lot more than I used to. I have a thing I've been working on about evolutionary neural networks, which I've put on hold for the last two years but which I'd like to start working on again.

@welshgeekboy
I'd like to start within next week. Wanna have some time to think about it?

@Cando I think I'll accept. We could start a thread on Mastodon, so as to update each other on our progress but not spam the timeline with individual posts.

@codesections @Cando Nice! What kind of stuff would you be doing, or do you not have a project in mind yet?

@codesections @Cando

@brandon might be interested too. Yo Brandon want to do a 100-day coding challenge? An hour a day?

@welshgeekboy @codesections @brandon

Idea to document the progress:
GitHub (or GitLab) repo with a table where we can document our daily progress?

@Cando it might be a good idea to check when these peeps can start before we go ahead though?
@codesections @brandon

@welshgeekboy
I really appreciate the offer but no can do, I've got a lot on my plate already
@codesections @Cando

@welshgeekboy @Cando Well, I'm actually self-studying coding full time at the moment, so I have several projects/courses I'm working on/plan to start

@codesections @welshgeekboy

When would you able to start the project? Since Puffinux is going to be on holiday tomorrow, we could start next week? - Some preparation time and less hustle.

@Cando @welshgeekboy That works for me. I'm probably not going to have a singular "project", though.

Right now, I'm working my way through Harvard's cs50 (edx.org/course/cs50s-introduct) and plugging along on pass-gen (gitlab.com/codesections/pass-g), but I doubt either of those will last 100 days.

@codesections @welshgeekboy
I am not going to work on a single project either. I rather prefer to work on various project in Python.

@Cando @codesections I can do then. As you say, it'll give some time for preparation πŸ‘

@welshgeekboy Good idea. Do you mind to start tomorrow?

@Cando I'm going to be on holiday (starting tomorrow) for about a week, but I should be able to take a laptop

@Cando
Oh, this sounds fun! I want to learn how Verilog simulators work, so I've been meaning to sit down with Icarus and see if there's a feature I can add or bug to fix. I'll join in!

@blunaxela Nice. We start on 01.07.2018.

@Cando
Heh, I feel very American since my first thought to your reply was why your date was wrong and didn't make sense.
