@puffinux @codesections @blunaxela Hey, going to delete my account here in 2-3. I just wanted to tell you, that it was fun to meet you. Unfortunately real life hit me hard, no time left for Mastodon. Coding stuff still continues tho.

Wish you the best!

I have a unfortunate realization after 2 weeks. Since the start of project I enjoy coding less.
The mandatory to code takes a huge part of the fun away, even when I have enough time.

Sometimes I would enjoy it even more to code 3 hours on a day, leave it for some days and start a new 3 hour session.

I am thinking about to stop the project for me personal since the fun of coding is more important than the project itself.

How is it going for you?

Got a new telephone for my home. I mean, it surely only costs 5 minutes to install, right?
It has cost me 3hours of my friday evening. After that I unexpected fell asleep on my couch and just woke up at 6am.

I'm getting old.

Beginning June 11, no more free API key for Google Maps (now Google Maps Platform) if you don't provide a credit card.

A lot of custom Google maps that have been created over the years will likely no longer work.

Time to use #leaflet and #openstreetmap

I can't believe it. It literally made my day! Well done!

BREAKING: In a huge victory, the European Parliament has voted 318-278 against #Article13 and #Article11—the disastrous #CensorshipMachine and #LinkTax copyright proposals.

That means we’re close to stopping these terrible proposals—and we’re gaining momentum.

Dear fellow devs,

When you invest in a surveillance capitalist like Twitter & help them build their platform by making apps for them, using their APIs, etc., know that they’ll have your back. And by that I mean they’ll throw you under the bus the first chance they get.

We’ve all made the mistake at one time (heck, I made both a Twitter & Facebook app using their APIs and thought I was helping build the “open web” ‘cos I trusted Tim O’Reilly).

Just avoid it next time.

Look at my amazing homepage

Going to host a Pleroma instance for updates.

The homepage is finished. I mean, not good looking, but the first step is done. Going to share the link with you tomorrow.

Keep in mind: 100% serious domain.

Had found a domain I like -> screw it, I'm sure, I find a better one -> brainstorming for 4 days -> just registered my "the old" one.

This weekend I am going to work on the homepage. It will be a really simple one, but with the most important information about my 365 days book project.

Release is on sunday.

Question for
Get better in ...
Get better at ...
Get better in/ at (depending on the activity)

Need your opinion:

I dare you to register one of them!

Still haven't found a domain I like. I'm getting insane. Send help.

Those domain reseller are annoying af. I don't want to buy a random domain for 2500€.

I am not kidding, 90% of my domain ideas are taken, but not even in use.

I've invested the whole evening to find a domain. No success.
