Booper<p>Think i found a computer to challenge the hotweels or barbie kids computers.</p>
Booper<p>Im back on the sgi wagon ss of today. Picked up 2 sgi octane computers today.</p>
Booper<p>Found some nice agp and pci express radeon cards today. The agp one is what i played world of warcraft on for years.</p>

Booper<p>Pentium 4 dell desktop with windows xp. Salvaged from recycle center. Managed to find a low profile quatro dvi card, gonna see if it will run killing floor and unreal tournament at a lan .</p>
Booper<p>Picked up rackmount compaq dl380 server. Four 18.2 scsi drives, a single pentium 3 cpu, with slot for a second. Once the date and time were set it booted to windows server 2000.</p>
Booper<p>Picked up some interesting stuff today. Tech surplus from a airport. Two hf trancievers and a rtty / badout / ascii terminal.</p>
Booper<p>Picked up lots of ham radio books on digital modes like rtty psk31 and packet too.</p>

Booper<p>Big variable power supply showed up in the recycle bin. Had a blown fuse, works fine now. 10 amp max , might be big enough to run my 3d printer or ham radios.</p>
Booper<p>Video cd player. Never got a chance to try this format out. Has 3 cd trays so multi cd movies can be played without swapping discs. Also interesting 3 mic ports.</p>
