Today it's been exactly 10 years since the first public commit by our original creator 🎉
We've already made up our minds, but what would you consider the app/project's birthday?
@AntennaPod Birthday is the day something or someone is born (released), but eg. for humans conceived (committed) nine months before and develops in the mothers womb. So to stay in the birthday analogy, the release should be the birthday.
@AntennaPod by the way. I found AntennaPod on FDroid at some point and loved it. Found a bug, wanted to report it and figured when looking at the about screen that the original developer was my childhood friends brother 😃 so I called to inform about the bug, but mainly then to have a conversation again, which we didnt have in years. I was studying 2000 km away at this point.
That's a funny story! Glad we helped initiate a human (re) connection! Thanks for sharing 😊
And a very convincing argument for what the app's birthday should be! If you don't mind we'll quote it in a blogpost (if we do one).
