I can totally understand why people use proprietary software in some cases. But why? Why the fu** would you use Microsoft Teams for video conferencing ?
@AaronTheIssueGuy Anecdotal data point: an org I'm involved with wants to use it because they're paying for it anyways with their 365 subscription
@AaronTheIssueGuy Place I used to work was all about using Google Meet and totally ignored that the lag was so bad we couldn’t understand each other’s signing. Similar to what @tallblondeguy said, they were just all in on that GSuite train and weren’t about to get off it for a silly reason like “it doesn’t work.”
Considering how many organizations are in the grips of the Microsoft suite, they could basically release any product, regardless of how awful it is, and still dominate the market...
